Ft. Roberdeau 18th Century Marketfaire and Rifle Frolic

October 7-9, 2016  – Friday through Sunday!
Open to the Public 9am to 5pm
Open 9am to 3pm on Sunday.

$4 Adults, $2 for Children 3-12 years old – Children under 3 years of age will be admitted free.

Primitive and Modern Camping
Short walk from the Altoona Rifle and Pistol Gun Club range.
18th Century Sutlers
Childern’s Colonial Games
Period Demonstrations:

  • Horn Smithing
  • Rifle Making
  • Native American Foodways
  • Log Hewing
  • Period Cooking
  • Weaving
  • and Much More!

The Frolic

Various Woods Walks – Rifle, pistol, knife and hawk throw and fire-starting.
On the Line Shooting – Daily Prizes in Off-hand, Chunk Gun, Trade Gun, Traditional Pistol, Cross-sticks, plus Novelty and In-line Rifle. Chunk Gun and Light Chunk Gun.
Open sights, shaders allowed, no in-line actions or sealed ignitions, no false muzzles. 14 pound limit on light chunk gun weight.
One Gun Championship
Off-hand Championship


We will be adding Artisans, Sutlers and Entertainers and information about the 2015 Marketfaire and Shoot.
